Ultra Kaiju Battle Breeder, Bandai's Upcoming Mobile Game!

Remember the days of Ultraman and how he would defend the cities of Japan from huge Kaiju (monsters)? Well, Bandai Namco Entertainment is giving everyone an opportunity to experience the good old days of our favorite sun loving hero, only this time in the perspective of the Kaiju.

A direct translation from the Japanese title, "Ultra Kaiju Battle Breeder" (ウルトラ怪獣 バトルブリーダーズ) will heavily feature the Kaiju as a mobile game. No gameplay news or trailer has been released just yet, leaving many of us with a ton of questions.

A short 55 second video featuring a list of popular Kaiju from the TV show is the only source of information we’ve gotten so far from the developers but even that alone has us excited for more. Check out the teaser below!

These are the confirmed Kaijus that was teased in the trailer, but we certainly hope there will be more epic monsters to come like Grand King, Pandon and IF.

  • Baltan
  • King Joe
  • Bemstar
  • Hipporito
  • Birdon
  • Golza
  • Maga-Jappa
  • Gan Q
  • Galactron
  • Zetton

Although there is no news on the gameplay mechanics on the game, judging from the title, the game might be some sort of a combination of monster raising with Kaijus and competitive battling. Monsters going up against monsters? Sign me up.

You can pre-register for the game now at their official website and if the game gets 20,000 users to pre-register, Bandai Namco Entertainment will give everyone a free Golden Kanego Kaiju! But do note, the website is in Japanese, so it might take you awhile to navigate it.

If Bandai Namco Entertainment Receives 20,000 pre-registrations, everyone will get a special Kaiju!

Though the game might sound exciting, it is unconfirmed whether Bandai will release the game for the Southeast Asian region as they have not shown any indication of an English version. We can only hope it does as the game seems pretty interesting.
