Tim Curtis Obituary, Death Cause – In a heartbreaking moment of profound sorrow, the family of Timothy Curtis Hofstede is left to grapple with the immense loss of their beloved son, brother, and father. Timothy’s journey on this earth tragically ended in a car accident at the border of Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario, on April 7, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. At the tender age of 34, Timothy has transitioned to the presence of the Lord, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Timothy, born on October 14, 1988, in Brampton, was the son and stepson of Jo-Ann Chisholm, John Mackle, and Edward Hofstede, each of whom survives him. His familial love extended to his children, Alexzander, Kayliegh, Johnny, and Emma. The pain of loss is deepened by the memory of his predeceased son, Xavier.
Timothy’s memory is carried by his brothers, Matthew Hofstede, Joseph Chisholm, Matthew Mackle, and sisters, Hayley Hofstede, Chanda Hofstede, and Jaqueline Mackle. The circle of mourning expands to include Uncle Ted (Susan) Chisholm and cousins David, Michael, and Mary, as well as Robert Chisholm and Lee Hofstede, accompanied by cousins Katlyn and Cody. The profound grief encompasses Aunt Frances (nee Hofstede), Dave Empey, and cousins Crystal, Nicholas, and Steve.
A loving and devoted family man, Timothy embraced the role of a father with wholehearted dedication, leaving an indelible impact on the lives of his children. The void left by his departure is felt not only within the family but also reverberates through the lives of numerous friends who had the privilege of crossing paths with Timothy. His kindness knew no bounds, and he was ever-ready to extend a helping hand, irrespective of the familiarity with the person in need.
Timothy’s zest for life was infectious, marked by a carefree and happy-go-lucky demeanor that drew people toward him. Life, for him, was a continuous adventure, filled with the anticipation of the next exciting escapade. From his earliest days, Timothy displayed an innate curiosity, an inclination to dismantle and reconstruct things—an inclination that stayed with him throughout his life.
