JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com- Menyusul kontroversi yang menyeret nama aktor Kim Min Gwi, sebagian besar penampilannya sebagai Nam Kyu Hyun di drama Nevertheless akan dihapus.
Perwakilan JTBC dari drama Nevertheless mengatakan hal tersebut pada Star News, Selasa (27/7/2021).
"Peran Kim Min Gwi akan dikurangi mulai tayangan minggu ini (31 Juli 2021)," kata perwakilan JTBC.
"Kami juga akan memotong adegannya sebanyak mungkin," lanjutnya.
Nama Kim Min Gwi mendadak jadi perbincangan ketika seorang netizen yang mengklaim sebagai kekasihnya, membuat unggahan di komunitas online dan menuding Kim Min Gwi telah berselingkuh.
Tidak itu saja, wanita itu juga menuding Kim Min Gwi melanggar aturan protokol kesehatan ketika positif Covid-19, dengan tetap bertemu teman wanita.
Menanggapi kabar tersebut, Kim Min Gwi melalui agensinya mengakui tudingan wanita tersebut, dan hanya membantah soal pelanggaran protokol kesehatan.
"Aktor kami sendiri telah mengakui kontroversi kehidupan pribadinya dan sangat menyesal atas penilaian dan tindakannya yang tidak dewasa yang menimbulkan rasa sakit pada korban," kata agensi Kim, Big Picture Entertainment.
