New Raid Boss Bug Shatters Players' Eardrums, Bungie Issues Warning

The original raid from The Taken King expansion was just released in Destiny 2 over the weekend, with Clan Elysium winning the World’s First title. Fans of the series were ecstatic over the return of one of the best raids in the history of Bungie’s FPSMMORPG.

However, Bungie said they were aware of an audio bug that is triggered during one of the raid encounters. This bug has startled many players and resulted in hilarious responses.

We’re aware of an issue where Golgoroth can sometimes produce an extremely loud roar in the King’s Fall raid.

It’s recommended to lower your audio output when fighting Golgoroth until a fix can be implemented.

While Bungie is attempting to fix this issue, Bungie has advised players to lower their volume during the encounter until a fix is implemented. We believe that the fix will be coming in the near future as the developers are known to come up with prompt solutions to bugs like these.

Check out the hilarious clips of the bug in action. Be warned as the audio bug in the clips below is pretty loud.

What roar? idk what you're talking about.. 😂

(obviously ridiculous loud noise warning)

Golgoroth Audio Glitch When Wiping From Totem! 🤣

WARNING VERY LOUD NOISE! #Destiny2

This bug is nothing new, although it’s still hilarious to see the startled reactions, and it’s definitely not hilarious when you’re on the receiving end of it. When the Forsaken expansion launched, it introduced to players the Last Wish raid, alongside the One Thousand Voices exotic fusion rifle as a reward.

This raid also had an ear-piercing audio bug that startled players. You can see the YouTube clip below for an example. Again, be warned of the loud audio bug.

Bungie is aware of this bug and is currently working on a patch. It’s only a matter of time until this ‘feature’ goes away.
