The League of Legends player known as Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok owns a building in the middle of Seoul. Thanks to his stellar career kicking off with SK Telecom T1, the star has bought off a building and has his name plastered on the side of the building.
The building, known as Faker Tower, is located at 114-12 Hwagok-dong in Gangseo, Seoul. Faker Tower is a nine-storey building with the first two floors offering medical service and a cafe. The top floor of the building hosts Faker’s own company.
Faker, also known by his nickname ‘Unkillable Demon King’, earns north of US$5.8 million (RM25.64 billion won) in 2022, most of which will go toward investments.
According to Joe Marsh, the esports legend is well-off and capable of self-sustaining.
“He doesn’t need money… he’s made really strong investments in Korea,” he said.
“There’s literally a building he owns called Faker Tower, his company’s on the top floor, and he leases it out.”
