She was known by many titles — mother, wife, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and daughter-in-law, but her most favorite title that she was known by is Punna. Her granddaughters Cambree and Avery were the light of her life. She always told them that she loved them BIG and they would always say they love her BIGGER!
She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Catherine Holloway; her brother Richard Holloway; and her sister-in-law Beverly Herrington.
She is survived by her daughters Beth Herrington (Jon Michael Baker) and Rebecca Cartlidge (Drew Cartlidge); her husband Carlos Rivas; her brother Tommy Holloway (Terry Holloway); her sister-in-law Amy Dearman (Steve Dearman); her brother-in-law Phil Herrington; two very special family members, Haskell and Robbie Herrington; her granddaughters Cambree and Avery Cartlidge; nieces and nephews Jennifer Davis (Michael Davis), Jessica Williamson (Alex Williamson), Kris Holloway (Sarah Holloway), Aaron Herrington (Brooke Herrington), Jared Herrington (Shea Herrington), Nathan Herrington, Bryce Dearman (Courtney Dearman) and Chris Stafford (Jessica Schustz); great-nieces and great-nephews Aubree Herrington, Abby Herrington, Ava Schustz, Kane Stafford and Abbigail Stafford; and a host of family and friends.
She was employed by South Central Regional Medical Center in the Radiology Department for 25-plus years. She leaves behind numerous work friends who will miss her dearly. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. She was one of the kindest, sincerest, most God-fearing women you would ever meet. Her absence in this earthly world will forever leave a void among those who loved her.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to SCRMC ICU Department, along with the pulmonary team and UMMC ICU Department for the love that they showed her and their tremendous efforts over these last few weeks to do everything that they could possibly do to care for her.
